The Offshore Rivers were formed over many nights spent around a record player, lost on the likes of The Stones, George Harrison, Gram Parsons, Otis Redding, the Byrds, Captain Beefheart, Jimmy Cliff, Neil Young, the Band to name but a few
The resulting sound is of jangly 60s guitar pop, heartfelt blues and tender soul, laden with country guitar, bittersweet harmonies and Dylan-esque prose.
The band are currently working on their first album which they hope to have out later this year.
